Crimson Clover is a one lady machine ran out of a cozy basement studio in a village of 500 people. I aim to create heirloom quality
goods that showcase skills once needed out of necessity, but have now been forgotten in the age of disposable fashion. I want to share with people know just how much effort "from scratch" really
means. All of my materials are Canadian sourced - the fibers, leather, and even my looms. I utilize the talents of local fiber artists in my products as much as possible.
My name is Karlee Esler and I started my sewing and textile journey at 6 years old. My love for fiber developed when I attended Red Deer College in 2006 and Capilano University in 2009 for Costume Cutting & Construction. After upholstering vehicles and making mascots, I worked for several years in the film industry. Weaving entered my life in 2014 when I left Vancouver and I haven't looked back. Crimson Clover is a place for all of my learned skills and aquired ideas to blend together and come to life.
